WHAT TO CONSIDER…

Wedding planning is no easy feat. There are many emotions that go into wedding planning, oftentimes great but sometimes tough.

Our hope is that we can offer you helpful advice when it comes to selecting your wedding florist to alleviate some of the heavy stress that comes with wedding planning.

Read on to learn more about 5 helpful things to consider when hiring your wedding florist!

1. EXPERIENCE

Just like anything, skill level comes with experience. When it comes to hiring your wedding florist, research those florists that are confident in their abilities and have the experience to back it up. Because this day is so important it’s best to not gamble on the capabilities of your wedding florist. Finding a florist that has experience in weddings, special events, private parties and more will allow you to feel more confident in the quality of services they are providing you with. With experience comes confidence and with confidence comes trust!

2. PORTFOLIO

A portfolio is so helpful to get a visual understanding of the talent and artistic ability of wedding florists. Asking to browse through portfolios can be so beneficial for you and your partner so that you can get a glimpse of the magnitude and capabilities of a wedding floral designer. This can also help you narrow down if you like their style, execution and artistic vision. You can take a look at our portfolio by clicking here

3. SPECIALTY

Are you looking for a particular vibe or type of wedding floral style? Ask yourself what you are looking for in your wedding florist and then do some research. Wedding florists can specialize in luxury wedding flowers, boho vibes, large weddings, intimate weddings, grandiose installations, garden and airy vibes, etc., Taking the time to find a wedding florist that fits your needs and vision will allow you to mesh well and be on the same page from start to finish. If you are looking for a particular type of wedding florist, they are out there! Be patient and trust the process!

4. PRICING

Have you set your wedding flower budget just yet? We want to be 100% open and honest when we tell you that quality wedding flowers are not cheap, especially as a result of Covid, flower pricing has increased considerably. Many wedding florists have a minimum when booking with them to ensure you are getting quality products + quality service. When you invest in quality florists, expect to receive the highest level of care, quality and results! You will not be disappointed!

5. TESTIMONIALS

Word of mouth recommendations, bridal testimonials and reviews are EVERYTHING. Take some time to read through reviews and testimonials on wedding florists websites and social media pages. Reviews can tell you a lot about a company so be sure to do your research. Testimonials will allow you to build trust in your wedding florist and feel safe and secure in your decision by taking a look at other reviews left by past brides.

A testimonial from our beautiful bride, Greer, pictured above!

“It wasn’t until the day of the wedding when I saw everything come to life that I was absolutely blown away. My bouquet and all of the bridesmaids/mothers’ bouquets were gorgeous and exactly what I had hoped for. It is hard to put into words how thankful and happy I am with how everything turned out.”

We hope you have found value in these topics as they really do make a difference in selecting a wedding florist that is right for you! We encourage you to do research and be intentional when it comes to choosing your florist.

Remember, your bridal bouquet is one of your most important accessories if not the most important on your wedding day! Choose wisely and with lots of care and love!

I had no idea that different florists will specialize in different things. I’d like to hire a florist this week to put together the bouquets for my wedding. It would be good to incorporate some artificial flowers if I can.
