Design Guide: A FREE Floral Planning Resource for the Posh Bride!

August 13, 2015

You finally set the date, picked a venue, and you have probably pinned hundreds of images that inspire the look you want for the big day. So what is the next step? Many brides contact me immediately and often have a general idea of what they want but are not 100% sure on how to achieve it. Some come to me with zero prior knowledge of what flowers cost, what options are available, and how to design a look that is truly unique and personalized. This of course is where I step in and begin to educate and advise my brides on how to start the design process. This routine inspired me to create a guide for brides to refer to when getting ready to meet with their dream florist.

The design guide includes all the details from our creative process, pricing, styles, and a seasonal floral reference among other essential details. Below is a short description on how you can utilize each portion of the guide during your planning and floral consultation.

Our Creative Process: When you contact Posh Peony, your client experience begins with a welcome email that tells you about our process and what we need to do to get ready to meet with you. We review you application and plan for a consultation that will result in a custom proposal that fits your every need.

Event Designer Vs. Traditional Florist: There is a difference! This comparison chart will outline how both services differ and will allow you to determine what type of investment you want to make.

Wedding Styles: From Glam, to traditional, to romantic, or ethereal; learn what key components make up such aesthetics. This list will allow you to further research your dream wedding look!

Aesthetic Details: How do you create a personalized and unique event? It is all in the details! See a sample inspiration board that depicts the details that make any event cohesive and extra special.

Bouquet Shapes: A quick reference tool that shows the most popular bouquet styles and describes each composition.

Floral Seasons: Outlined are my favorites blooms, pricing, and availability. You can reference this when planning out your wedding style and floral arrangements.

Investment Tiers + Pricing: Most brides do not know what flowers costs or how much budget should be allocated. Our guide allows you to get an idea of what each floral piece will costs and what your investment will look like so that you are confident with the financial decision to make toward each design.

FAQ: Want to know what questions you should be asking a florist/designer when you meet with them? These key questions will give you a better insight on what type of professional you are hiring and will give you peace of mind about where your investment is going.

Define Your Style + Notes + More: The notes pages will allow you to reflect upon yourself to create a “style” that you feel defines you as a bride and a couple. This information is key to creating a one-of-a-kind event!

I tried clicking the link in this post for the free download, but it looks like the link is broken. Are you able to share it with me again? Thank you again for creating such a valuable resource!!!!
