This wedding was everything that embodies romance, elegance and love! Celebrated at the historic Lindley Scott House on a warm summer day, take a look inside Sheila & Adrian’s Dreamy Wedding! 

The Venue

he Lindley Scott House is known for its beautiful gardens fit for a dream wedding. Built in 1911, this Historic House is accompanied by a quaint Carriage House that was built in 2003. For years, this historic property has housed hundreds of weddings and festive celebrations. On its grounds you will find a unique cypress tree and a great big California Live Oak tree that add a memorable aesthetic to this location. You would be hard pressed to forget a home such as this with yellow shingling and green shutters. There is something about a historic wedding venue that brings a smile to your face knowing the venue was built for love and magic! The grounds at the Lindley Scott House have been beautifully kept all year long and the lawn area was the perfect place for Sheila & Adrian to exchange their special vows!

The Ceremony

Wedding ceremonies possess such a unique memory from one happy couple to the next. Whether you have a large or small bridal party, matching or differing variation choices for bridesmaids gowns, flower girls, ring bearers or sometimes even puppy bearers, one thing rings true, Love is in the air. Love is such a fun part of life. Bringing people together on a day centered around love is so special and so very sweet! Set on the classic lawn area, Sheila & Adrian’s wedding ceremony was airy and elegant! The wedding aisle was lined with long rows of clean white chairs accented with lush blush and cream floral arrangements. The roses used for these wedding bouquets were fresh, fragrant and just lovely!

The floral palette was blush and neutral accented with several lush greenery additions and even pops of periwinkle! Posh Peony’s iconic high floral arrangements set the scene as they marked the start of the wedding aisle with their height and beauty. The aisle leading to the wedding altar with the archway could not have suited this stunning couple any better! Taking a simple white wooden wedding arch and adding in great big floral arrangements filled with a wide variation of blush, cream, ivory, green and periwinkle accents was a true delight! Blooming hydrangeas and striking greenery that perfectly drape in all the right places is a definite Yes for any summer wedding. The arrangements were offset with a low high vibe with one fastened to the far left near Sheila and the other to the top right of Adrian. This not only adds a variation of balance for a wedding arch, it also is a new age way to take on a classic wedding archway. Simply beautiful!

Wedding Florals

Roses are symbolic of romance and love. It is easiest to spot a rose for most people, as it is the flower of love. White, Ivory, Cream, Blush, Peach, Lavender, Red, Yellow, roses come in all different colors and blooming shapes. Each rose unique from the next in the same way that we as humans are all unique from one another. Roses have a way of showing a very special person just how special and love they truly are. If you look closely, each arrangement for Sheila & Adrian’s big day is arranged with roses. Whether they are blush or cream, ivory or a fair shade of pink, they sure bring a romantic pop to every floral arrangement. As the roses hold a special place of their own, the bold hydrangea present in each bouquet and arrangement provide a nice texture. Aiding in achieving that perfect floral flow as well as consistency, texture is key in each bridal bouquet and floral arrangement. When a bouquet is perfectly balanced, textured, arranged and designed, it will look just like those Posh Peony arrangements pictured in the images below!

Celebratory Wishes!

As always, it is so important for us to take the time to wish our bride and groom a very happy Wedding Anniversary! It is so exciting to see love bloom and we were more than thrilled to have played such a role in this special day! We take such pride and joy in designing our floral arrangements and this wedding was an absolute blast!
