The Vibiana was the perfect venue for this stunning ivory wedding. This wedding was filled with lush white florals, bright white table decor and dainty tea light candles. The ornate archways paired with the great white pillars of the room blended beautifully with the wedding decor. The aesthetic of this luxurious ivory wedding at Vibiana was classic, clean and sophisticated. With a color palette as simple as ivory, notice how much detail went into the design and styling of the event.

LUXURIOUS IVORY WEDDING

Ivory weddings are so aesthetically pleasing. When you pair an ivory palette with a luxurious aesthetic, you get magic! This wedding was bright and airy, filled with a variety of tall and low floral arrangements. 

When designing for a luxurious ivory wedding, it’s important to find flowers that are on brand with the desired look. The flowers selected for this occasion were a combination of playa blanca roses, hydrangeas, stock and majolica spray roses. To achieve the desired look you will notice that every flower has a purpose in where it is placed. The round shape of the floral arrangements helped to bring out that timeless and classic feel of the wedding style.

Balance and depth was achieved when we opted for high and low floral arrangements. This component helps to draw the eye to multiple areas within the room to create little moments and add variety. The crystal trumpet vases used for the high arrangements helped to provide that luxury feel. Every table linen was neatly laid out and decorated with silver mercury glass votives and silver charger plates. The tablescapes came together so nicely with each ivory and silver element.

Pro Tip…

When handling wedding cakes be sure you have enough room around you to not bump the cake. We recommend you wear clean gloves, sanitize each and every stem and take off any petals that may be browning. With a waterfall flower design it is helpful to start at the top and work your way down. When it comes to filling in holes incorporate smaller blooms like majolica spray roses help fill gaps. Take deep breaths, have a steady hand and do not second guess yourself. Trust your gut but also map out your flower route beforehand if you need extra confidence!

This luxurious ivory wedding at Vibiana was a great event for us to showcase our skills when it comes to attention to detail and precision. We want to be honest and state that an ivory wedding can be a bit discouraging to take on. Just know that with the right team, the perfect venue, a beautiful selection of flowers and decor, it can be done successfully! It takes an experienced and proactive team to pull off a wedding that is so precise and pristine. 

Take a look at the marble flooring and stairs leading up to the cake table. Every detail from top to bottom of the venue had to be looked at carefully to ensure cleanliness and readiness. To ensure this ivory wedding did not feel sterile or cold, we implemented the lush floral arrangements to soften up the space. Additionally, the dark wood features like the chairs and wood accents around the room also helped to provide contrast.

Did you know?

This year we experienced one of the worst flower shortages ever. The entire flower farming world was greatly impacted by the effects of 2020, flooding and natural disasters. If you didn’t already know, there was a worldwide white rose flower shortage. Much of the shortage stemmed from a lack of manpower on the farms to plant and harvest the blooms as a result of the pandemic. Additionally, climate change has had devastating effects on much of the farming community in the world creating these shortages.
