This California winter wedding at the Pasea Hotel turned out to be a wedding to remember. Every detail came together so nicely to create a luxury winter wonderland. This wintery palette was inspired by fresh fallen snow with icy blue hues and undertones. We love when our clients have a vision and we bring it to life through our designs. Every arrangement was carefully planned and executed allowing us to incorporate a variety of heights and shapes. 

This winter wedding at the Pasea Hotel was crisp, elegant and timeless!

THE PASEA HOTEL

The Pasea Hotel located in Huntington Beach, California, is an oceanside venue that has incredible views. Right down the street from the Huntington Beach Pier, this venue is in such a great area.

Out of town guests have the opportunity to walk along the beach, check out the surf shops, and enjoy meals all within walking distance of the hotel. 

Because it is right off of the ocean, the aesthetic of the hotel is coastal inspired with a modern and luxurious feel. This venue complemented our California winter wedding as it helped us incorporate bits of nature and serenity. The wedding color palette was winter inspired featuring blue water undertones that were displayed in a tasteful manner. 

ALL WHITE CEREMONY

For the wedding ceremony, our clients chose to celebrate on the “Ocean Lawn.” Overlooking the beach and shoreline, this setup was picture perfect. The sun was shining beautifully and the palm tree silhouettes in the background were stunning. 

We opted for a clean white curtain as the backdrop for the ceremony stage. To enhance the stage we used tall white orchids and hydrangeas and placed them at different levels. 

When it came to decorating the aisle we used a variety of clear glass vases in three different heights with white pillar candles. With freshly clustered white rose petals, we beautified the space. 

Crystal flute vases and glass mirror pillars helped to create that luxury feel. On top of the pillars we placed lush floral arrangements. Each arrangement was filled with white orchids, roses and hydrangeas. These arrangements were crisp, lush and elegant and looked so nice next to our beautiful couple!

ALL WHITE WINTER WEDDING

We had so much fun planning this winter wedding at the Pasea Hotel. The color palette, the wedding style and the floral arrangements were so fun to work with.

All white weddings can feel a little intimidating at times. There can be fear of redundancy or lack of oomph because of a minimalist palette. However, this wedding proved to be a wonderful example of what can happen with careful and intentional planning. 

This wintry wedding style allowed us to add life to the venue and enhance every corner. Flowers have a way of making people feel happy. As floral designers we love what we do. Getting to use nature to celebrate life and love is humbling for us. 

As much as we loved the ceremony setup, the reception area was equally as beautiful. We decorated the reception area with beautiful white orchids.

The deep blue linens paired nicely with the wintery blue uplighting featured through the space. Decorated with blues, golds and whites, the wedding cake was so elegant. Keeping in sync with the palette the cake was white with hues of blue and gold accents. 

Every detail of this wedding had a seamless flow and balance. It’s key that we incorporated details that were carefully and intentionally planned out.

Planning and mapping out details is so important to be successful. Creating backup plans, alternatives and allowing flexibility is crucial. Additionally, delegating different tasks and making sure all team members are well versed on duties and responsibilities is very important. A healthy channel of communication is always necessary!
