July 1, 2020

What brings two people together for a lifetime of love and happiness? Well a wedding, of course! And what adds those little touches of elegance and pops of color? Beautiful floral bouquets designed to bring a bride’s vision to life. This wedding embodied just that, as the floral decor was vibrant and beautiful! We want to wish a very Happy 1 Year Wedding Anniversary to Gianna & Alexander who celebrated their big day at the Iconic Mission Inn, Riverside back on July 1st, 2019. What an incredible day to witness!

The Venue

The Mission Inn located in Riverside, California is known for its incredibly ornate Spanish style architecture and European flare. Dating back to its start in 1876, the Mission Inn was founded by Frank Miller. Frank was one for hospitality and making sure all who entered were taken care of and treasured. What once began as a boarding house, the Mission Inn has been beautifully transformed into a hotel that has since then been filled with years of memories and lots of love! Frank’s legacy of creating an atmosphere for everyone to enjoy is what has brought newcomers through its doors year in and year out. This iconic location has been the host for various celebrities, feature films and even several past U.S. Presidents. From the various ceremony and reception venues to the terraces, ballrooms and courtyards, the Mission Inn truly has it all! This wedding venue could not have been more perfect for Gianna & Alexander’s big day!

The Bride & Groom

Wedding photos capture precious moments that a happy couple can look back on in years to come. Gianna and Alexander’s first look moments remind us all of a romantic fairytale. Standing on the front steps of the iconic Mission Inn with its great big doors filled with ornate designs, oversized terra-cotta planters with pretty flowers and elaborate wall structures, Gianna and Alexander were both beaming with excitement. From the photos taken on beautiful terraces to the ones captured under romantic archways and in dainty courtyards, these wedding photos make you feel like you are in a different part of the world! Gianna was absolutely stunning in her all white gown with mesh and floral detail complemented with a delicate mid length veil. Alexander was sophisticated and classic in his grey suit and silk bow tie. To tie in their beautiful bride and groom ensembles, Alexander was accented with a fresh lilac garden boutonniere while Gianna stole the show with her showstopping lilac and violet bridal bouquet.

The Bridal Bouquet & Floral Arrangements

A bride is not complete without her bridal bouquet. Bridal bouquets exude beauty and they exude artistry. These bouquets are a way for a bride to share a little bit of her personality and tastes through use of expert floral design and arrangement. Summertime is a great time for love and an even greater time for weddings. Emulating vibrancy of love, life and happiness, the floral decor for this special occasion did not disappoint. Fresh, fun and floral! That’s what comes to mind when we think of Gianna’s bridal bouquet. Arranged with our iconic peony, fresh garden roses, shades of pink, shades of lilac and violet, with touches of subtle greenery here and there, what a beautiful accent for a beautiful bride! As beautiful as the bridal bouquet was, the charming flower crowns that matched did not go unnoticed.

The Ceremony & Reception

There is something about being married in a historic chapel with beautifully decorated ceiling structures and candles. The St. Francis of Assisi chapel is filled with embellishments, stained glass windows, high beamed ceilings and even an 18-karat gold altar. How fitting that a regal altar was the setting for this memorable wedding. Gianna & Alexander were married in a room that perfectly complemented their beaming radiance and joy. From being walked down the aisle, to holding hands, reciting their vows and exchanging their rings, this couple lit up the room with their love. Surrounded by their closest family, friends and relatives the night to follow during the reception would be a night filled with laughter and love! The first dance is always something so special. It’s a first of many firsts for the bride and groom. The night carried on with speeches, music, dancing and a delicious wedding cake decorated with shades of pink and lilac. The venue was filled with twinkling tea light candles and fresh garden rose petals strategically placed throughout. Oh what a night!

Celebratory Wishes for the Happy Couple!

As each year passes, may your love for one another grow deeper than ever! We were so very honored to have played such a role in your special day! We want to wish you both the very best of health, longevity, happiness and last but not least love. If there was ever a day to look back on a reminisce of its beauty, vibrancy, playfulness and elegance, it was a day such as this. Congratulations to 1 year of marriage! Cheers!
