Dusty Blue Romantic Wedding at the Mission Inn

A refreshing dusty blue color scheme at our favorite venue? Yes, please! Kayla and Rueben had their ceremony and reception at the famous Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. The day was classic and inspiring. First, take a look at Kayla’s gown, and the intricate details of the lace veil. She also had a pair of chic Valentino studded leather heels in beige and cream. Kayla was simply glowing on her big day!

The Bridal Party

Her bridal party rocked pretty pale blue bridesmaid gowns. We incorporated the pastel blue tones into all the bridal party bouquets. Kayla had a luxurious white bouquet that was decorated with a broach and keepsake keychains. Rueben and his crew were dressed to the nines as well! The groom wore a royal blue suit and the groomsmen surrounded him in light blue. Everyone was fresh and ready for this gorgeous day.

The ceremony took place in the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, which features the most amazing mahogany wooden doors. This wonderful couple said their vows and took to the staircases for even more beautiful photos by Valerie Durham.

You might notice that Ruebens outfit changed. Yes, he switched up his suit to a classic black tuxedo for the reception. The reception space was decked out in gold, dusty blue and cream. There were a mix of high and low centerpieces and plenty of round tables for all the guests. Then Kayla and Rueben got the party going with a first dance. Everyone made it to the dance floor!

A special detail is the cake table. It features a four tier cake that sat upon a decorative cake stand. Pretty roses and dusty blue hydrangeas were added to the cake for that Posh Peony touch.
