We want to share a very very special Wedding Anniversary feature with you all as we celebrate none other than our founder, Cristina, and her husband Ricardo as they are celebrating 4 incredible years of marriage on the 26th of this month! Read on to learn more about their venue, flowers, aesthetic and more!

Bridal Bouquet Magic

We love to share the importance of creating a seamless flow from your bridal bouquet to your bridal gown. It’s important to find a balance that works well depending upon your venue and wedding style. The queen of Posh Peony herself, Cristina, flawlessly executed a complementary look from head to toe. Just notice the attention to detail in her bridal ensemble! 

That gown is a statement all on its own with its beautiful long sleeves, intricate lace detail with soft gold accents and a full and flowing tulle bottom. From the stunning brooch to the gold silk ribbon from Tono+Co, this bridal bouquet created a bridal magic moment. It’s really important to find complementary colors in your bouquet so that they do not pull too much attention away from you, the bride! We love to look back on Cristina and Ricardo’s big day and think of all the magical fairytales!

The Venue

Can we talk about this gorgeous venue? The Mission Inn located in Riverside is absolutely iconic! Known for its incredibly ornate Spanish style architecture and European flare, the Mission Inn could not have been a more perfect setting Cristina and Ricard’s intimate wedding celebration. 

This venue was founded by Frank Miller in 1876 and has earned its highly reputable status through the years due to its beautiful grounds, exceptional service in hospitality and its ability to create beautiful memories for its guests. What started out as a boarding house way back when has over the years transitioned beautifully into a hotel with walls filled with love, history and romance! Nothing but warmth and inviting vibes this venue brings! Newcomers flock to this stunning venue year after year as it also has hosted several VIP celebrities, feature films and politicians. Whether you’re enjoying the architecture in the ceremony and reception venues or enjoying a good laugh with friends on the terraces, the ballrooms and courtyards are showstopping with their architectural elegance and history!

Bloom Recipe

You know we love sharing our bloom recipes and floral education with you! Let’s talk about the details of this bouquet. The color palette selected is simple, clean and elegant! Cream garden roses are always a YES when looking for something that is fresh and elegant. This bouquet was thoughtfully designed noting to add in lush green accents where necessary to provide texture and balance. 

You’ll notice Cristina’s bouquet is a sleek oval bouquet with elegant touches added in by the jasmine vine that drapes over just beautifully. The soft gold notes in the center of the fresh peonies tied in so well with the brooch and gold Tono+Co sash. 

Can we also talk about the ranunculus. When these babies reach their full bloom magic happens! Their petals are soft and pronounced while providing such a striking feature with their bold centers.
