Can we talk about beachfront weddings? There really is nothing quite like them! From the incredible ceremony views overlooking the water, to the fresh sea breeze and the warm sunny air, what a romantic atmosphere these kinds of weddings create! When we think of romance, lush vibes and magic, beachfront weddings take the cake! 

What a beautiful experience we had designing for our sweet clients on their big day over at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Dive in with us this week as we talk all things floral, first look moments, color palettes, venue styles and more!

First Look Moments

Okay, first looks moments are EVERYTHING. Whether you’ve been married or not, we all know how special these moments are. First looks moments are filled with excitement, nervousness, butterflies and the anticipation of knowing you’re going to be seeing your partner is a very special moment. These moments hold a significant part of the wedding celebration as they are oftentimes a bit more intimate and shared with just a small number of the wedding attendees. We love being able to witness authentic reactions and the emotions that go with it when our brides turn around for the first time. Take a look at this stunning bride draped in her beautiful bridal gown. The tight fitting silhouette featuring a full train and lace detail was just a magical vision. 

If you’ve followed our blogs before you know we always love to stress the importance of finding a bridal style that is you as well as finding a bridal bouquet that complements your ensemble. Notice how her gown is only enhanced by her bridal bouquet that exudes all things romance! From the blush and muted pink garden roses to the fresh fragrant peonies, the huckleberry to the sweet pink majolica spray roses, her bridal ensemble was a complete package equipped with a proper balance of shape and colors! This moment just created the sweetest memory for the bride and groom. We live for moments like these when we see our couple’s vision come to life! 

Beachfront Bliss

Okay beachfront wedding. You better work that venue! I mean come on, we love a  ceremony that overlooks the ocean on a perfect sun-filled day! Truly a stunning sight to see! Sharing in their love, the guests and loved ones for this wedding witnessed this special day surrounded by notes of fresh floral arrangements, intricate wedding arch designs, a wedding aisle lined with fragrant rose petals and breathtaking floral centerpieces. You’ll notice the arch is complementary to the space, not too busy but instead lush and nicely balanced. From the stark white bright curtains that draped in the back to the hanging vines, touches of blush and fresh cream garden roses placed throughout, this was such a dream to create! 

The ceremony could not have looked more polished and put together. The bright green grass contrasted so nicely with the white chairs, the cream and blush rose petals that lined the aisle as well as the great big pillars with arrangements set atop them. You know we love using our crystal flare fluted vases so these paired so nicely with the polished arrangements that were created! Take a look at the photos and tell us you’re not in love with a vibe like this! 

Bridal Bouquet Recipe

You know it wouldn’t be a Posh Peony blog without some floral education added into our weekly posts! As always, we live to educate our brides, couples and floral designers interested in learning more about florals, blooms, recipes and more! When we designed this bouquet we knew we had to take into consideration the venue, beachfront, the season, mid-spring, and bridal style, romantic, and the color palette, blush and muted pink. Notice the shape of the bridal bouquet as it complements the bridal gown and its silhouette. 

As always, we want our floral bouquets to enhance our brides and complement their ensemble, not clash and take away from all of the beauty.
