Hey Brides! 

We love a good anniversary feature! This week we are talking all about a beautiful wedding celebration that took place at the Mount Palomar Winery here in sunny California. This wedding was full of airy color palettes, lush bouquets, dreamy archways and all things romance! We are so passionate about bringing our best and always striving for excellence as we design for our dream clients. This day was nothing short of perfection! What a joy!

Setting The Stage

Setting the stage. This is a very important component when it comes to events and celebrations. Setting the stage allows you to set the tone and create the vibe you want your guests to experience. We strive to work with our clients to understand both their needs and their wants so that we may execute their experience and design set up accurately and effectively. You’re thinking airy and spring vibes? Okay, well let’s go with full lush bouquets that have draping features, breathy archway designs that are not too structured and a simple yet stunning venue so that we can build and create the atmosphere that is so desired. We love being able to bring our client’s vision to life and we absolutely loved getting to share in the love of this special couple! 

Take a look at the ceremony setup. You’ll notice right away that the colors green and white pop out. White is a nice and simple base color as you can really go in many directions with this color. The fresh eucalyptus garland that is hanging over the wedding arch naturally has that draping effect so this helped to create a bit of movement and provide that airy qualities. This greenery is not too bold yet not too simple that it doesn’t stand out. It was beautiful and it fit the winery setting beautifully! 

We decided to build upon the white backdrop with the tall standing pillars up at the front of the ceremony setting with fresh arrangements set atop them. You’ll notice we again incorporated the eucalyptus in addition to other fresh blooms and garden roses to keep a balanced aesthetic. We always love a pretty petal lined aisle and some great big gold lanterns with candles to help set the mood. Check out how this ceremony setting came together! Simply beautiful! 

Let’s Party!

Who doesn’t love the reception portion of a wedding? Filled with music, great food, even better company all gathered together for the special celebration of their dear loved ones. Receptions are always so much fun! For Kiah + Derrick’s wedding we again worked to keep the incorporation of the eucalyptus featured throughout. Their sweetheart table was such a fun build! The dark wood table provided a nice contrast for the eucalyptus which helped lay a strong foundation for the peonies, garden roses and other fresh blooms. The bronze lanterns even had subtle green hues almost splotch like shape that helped to keep the eucalyptus accents balanced.

We had so much fun draping and designing the stone fountain as well! Keeping the eucalyptus vision alive we got right down to dressing up the fountain with eucalyptus, peonies and fresh garden roses! We had a blast designing this reception and just imagine the fresh floral scents throughout the venue! What a dream! 

Special Moments

It’s always so sweet when the bride and groom get to step away from the party and get their portraits taken. The Mount Palomar Winery is such a vibe and pretty backdrop on its own. Kiah + Derrick elevated the scene with their bridal and groom ensembles. We loved Kiah’s bridal gown. The open back, intricate lace detail, long train and fitted bodice. It’s so fun to find the right pairing of a bouquet for a dress like this! You’ll notice we worked to incorporate a beautiful sash that not only paired well with the bouquet but also nicely complement her bridal gown. Their bride and groom ensemble took everyone’s breath away!
