The moment I met Monica, I knew her wedding was going to be a fabulous event. She was referred to me by one of my 2010 brides (thank you Kristine!). She walked into my office looking super stylish, with such a positive attitude, and was just incredibly sweet. On top of that, Monica was organized, had done her research, and spoke with great enthusiasm about her wedding plans. We were ready to get into the design nitty gritty quick! Through the course of a year, her ideas evolved and color pallets changed. However, the design concept remained the same. Romantic, soft, and elegant. To finally see it all the details come to life was just mesmerizing. The venue was at the Double Tree by Hilton Ontario and we had a great team of vendors involved that day including the amazing and talented photographer, Rita Clifton and Luis from Sweet Art Cakes. It was a beautiful day and our amazing couple couldn’t look anymore in LOVE. Congrats again Mr. and Mrs. Tovar!!
The beautiful bride and bridesmaid bouquets included ivory and fuchsia roses along with my favorite flower of all time; peonies! The bride bouquet was also adorned with one of our crystal broaches that added some sparkle.
The Ceremony was held in the hotel courtyard. I absolutely love all the white chiffon fabric that was used. It definitely soften the space to make it more elegant. The topiaries were composed of hydrangea, ivory roses, and lisianthus clusters and we hung jewels on the wrought iron stands to add a touch of bling. We used a chiffon backdrop to make the space more intimate for the bride and groom since there was a lot of open space.
The reception ballroom was just gorgeous! I absolutely loved the ambiance in this room that was created by amber uplighting and dozens upon dozens of candles. We had a combination of floating candle centerpieces and topiaries using tulip vases and tulip votive holders. We added a touch of bling by using strands of jewels on all the tall centerpieces. The linens were a clean and simple black poly satin floor lengths and ivory napkins, chair cushions, and charger plates. It looked and felt so Romantic!
Is this a cake or what?! The bride chose a cake design that went well with her colors and she decided to add more detail and a custom created jewel cake stand to compliment the clean and simple lines in the linen. A few tulip votives, petals, and peony stems made it all that much more beautiful.
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Tovar!! It was an honor to be part of your special day 🙂
With Love,
